EU and EEA companies and entities that want to make professional waste shipments in Spain

Those companies and entities from the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) that want to make professional waste shipments in Spain, must be registered in the Waste Production and Management Register (RPGR, spanish acronym). To do so, they must submit a prior communication, as agreed by the Waste Coordination Commission:

Agreement of the Waste Coordination Commission on the requirements for EU or EEA companies to carry out professional waste management activities in Spain as agents, dealers or carriers of waste

In this regard, a procedure has been created in the Electronic Office to submit prior communications from EU or EEA professional waste carriers:

Previous communication procedure for professional waste shipments for EU or EEA

This procedure is designed so that EU and EEA companies and entities can submit a prior communication and be able to transport waste in Spain on a professional basis. These interested parties must submit the prior communication model attached here, duly completed and signed, to initiate the administrative procedure.

The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge has created this specific procedure to receive all prior communications from foreign carriers and submit the information to the competent autonomous community.
