From 15th to 17th June, the X Environmental Documentation Centers and Protected Natural Areas and Natural Park Fuentes Carrionas y Fuente Cobre celebrated in Cervera de Pisuerga (Palencia). Besides CENEAM and Ministry of the Environment, Rural and Marine, Natural Patrimony Foundation from Castilla y León via CIDA (Information and Environmental Documentary Center, Regional from Castilla y León) and Natural park Zona Volcánica de Garrotxa from Generalitat of Catalonia has organized this tenth anniversary. For its execution, Manual of Sustainable Events of the Regional Government of Castilla y León has taken into account.

Centers from 14 Autonomous Communities belonging to RECIDA, a network of over 100 environmental institutions in Spain (http://www.recida.net/), attended the meeting. It presented various experiences and projects, as well as tools that facilitate document management and also a tutorial on content creation for RECIDA´s collaborative portal

Thanks to the collaboration of Eco Edition Office from Regional Government of Andalusia, the sections have been grabbed. We hope to publish on the RECIDA website www.recida.net and other defund channels that we consider appropriate.

Jesús Vázquez presents us the Guía de eventos sostenibles (Sustainable Events Guide) that is beginning to use in Junta de Castilla y León. Moreover, he also presented proyecto iCairn de señalización virtual de itinerarios de montaña  en espacios naturales (ICairn project for virtual signaling of mountain routes in natural areas) via augmented reality. In the natural parks of Ordesa y Monte Perdido and Caldera de Taburiente and Parque Regional de la Sierra de Gredos (Regional Park of Sierra de Gredos) has been carried out this project. Visitors can download information about the routes to their mobile devices. The apps are available for Android and iPhone systems.

They made the first version. But they will improve it for the next seminar. The other members, once they publish the improving version on the web, will also contribute with their links. 
• Puntos de documentación y bibliotecas móviles del CD del  Parque Natural de la Zona Volcánica de la Garrotxa . Montse Grabolosa, offered to the institutions and companies of the Garrotxa with environmental commitments.

• Runaemprende: green entrepreneurship resources and services. Beatriz García. Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Foundation.
   

As a Cultural complement, we went to House from Parque de Fuentes Carrionas and Piedad Isla Museum.

Thursday 16th June 2011

• Tutorial for the creation of a context for Portal RECIDA. Jesús Tramullas. University of Zaragoza.
• Presentation of different tools. Ángel Poveda. University of Salamanca: - Automatic articles compilers with Google Reader - PIWIGO as an option to make a collaborative image gallery - ISSUU to create bulletins. - EDILIM to produce games and didactic materials - LOQUENDO to create voice apps.
• Taller: RECIDA 2.0 coordinated by Beatríz García. For the participation of RECIDA in Social Media, they presented several approaches. To begin with, they created a new working group formed by Ángel Poveda, Jesús Tramullas, Jorge Iriarte, Lola Burgos and Beatriz García (she will be responsible for making it dynamic).
   

We closed the day with a visit to House of the Bear and Fossil Forest Trail.

Friday 17th June 2011 

RECIDA working groups

• Boletines Electrónicos. Ana Pardo (CEIDA-Galicia) considered the need for changing group members and commented on what they did this year. Since this seminar, they will form this group: Mabel Fernández from CENEAM (National Educational Environmental Center), Berenice Hervás from CIDA (Information and Environmental Documentary Center), and Jacinto Prieto from Inguruguela-CEIDA (Ingurugela-University Extension and Environmental Dissemination Center).
• Experiencias. Javier Puertas from Europarc Spain. Montse Grabolosa and Alejandro del Moral also formed part of this groups. Javier Puertas presented some conclusions comed from the rare experiences received and encouraged the participants to fill in the existing questionnaire. The group members promised to modify the most confusing fields from the file card. And they launched the idea that, at least, the experiences of each seminar should have a corresponding file.

• La ambientalización de las publicaciones en el sector público y otras iniciativas internacionales. Vicente Rodríguez. Regional Government of Andalusia, Eco Edition Office.
• RECIDA Report 2010 and proposal for future actions.  Rosario Toril and Montserrat Grabolosa revised the fulfillment of the objectives and tasks for 2010-2011, just like those for 2011-2012, listed in the conclusions.
   

Regarding the meta-searcher (megabuscador), they informed us that, despite having the budgets for this project, CENEAM could not begin with it. The reason is that they do not have the z39.50 protocol, an essential condition for the centers that want to participate in it.

To celebrate these ten years of activity, they made a presentation with photos of the ten seminar years and, courtesy of CENEAM and Natural park Zona Volcánica de Garrotxa participating received a crystal glass from Royal Glass Factory of La Granja with the anagram of the anniversary engraved on it. Council of Barcelona edited stickers and bookmarks of RECIDA. They also offer a pen drive with information on all the celebrated seminars. They included this material in a bag with books and several gifts from the host entity, CIDA from Regional Goverment from Castilla y León.

Upon until the next seminar held, they have agreed on the following tasks:

RECIDA: General Aspects

• Improvement of the experience sheet and complementation of the new ones
• Finalization of the resource file to share it
• Make the Policies of photographs, operation, etc.
• Defund and extend the network
• Find grants and subsidies
• Prepare the annual report on contributions to RECIDA and commitments
• Continuing contact with universities
• Improvement of the list of electronic resources
• Collaboration with Vocandpark (May 2012)
• Set up a working group to promote the use of 2.0 in RECIDA.
• Revision and updating of bulletins
• Resume and improve the communication plan

RECIDA portal

• Create the structure in Drupal for the RECIDA directory cards
• Updating the web
• Request passwords for the portal
• Implementation of a directory of electronic resources
• Implement the experience sheets
